Two siblings from Elk Plain are coming to your TV in the new year! Hosted and judged by Duff Goldman and Kardea Brown, “Baking Championship: Next Gen” will debut on the Food Network on Jan. 5.

With iPads in the classroom, research is instantly at students' fingertips, and they can work on increasingly creative, complex projects. But when students are using their devices, cybersecurity is increasingly important, and that's something else the Tech Levy pays for.

With 21,000 students in 202 square miles of unincorporated Pierce County, making sure kids get the best education they deserve is a big job.
